The Accounting Career Fair at Anderson

The Anderson Accounting Career Fair is an exclusive and mutually beneficial event for accounting firms and students with a concentration in Accounting. Employer sign-in and booth set-up will begin at 1:30pm, and open walk-through will be from 3:00-7:00pm. Interviews will not be held at this event.

Registration Period
Registration closed 5:00pm on Friday, May 18, 2007. Registration materials received after the deadline will be subject to approval on a space available basis. Registration cancellations within 15 calendar days of the event date (September 3, 2007) are subject to an administrative charge of $50.00.

Registration Fee
Registration fees help defray the costs associated with producing this event, including venue, parking, catering, and administrative and promotional costs. This year, we aim to again provide employers with an excellent professional venue to attract top students and graduates. Attending this event will maximize your recruiting dollars.

Increase your on-campus brand with a corporate sponsorship. This year, we offer two participation levels:

This year, we offer two participation levels:

  • Sponsorship Level Registration fee of $750 includes two tables, seating for four recruiters, and special recognition on the Anderson Accounting Career Fair website, booklet and banners. SPONSORSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES ARE RESERVED.

  • Participant Level Registration fee of $250 includes one table, seating for two recruiters and listing on the Anderson Accounting Career Fair website and booklet.

Other Registration Information

  • Catering: Beverage, appetizer and dessert catering will be available for all employers and job-seekers throughout the event.
  • Booth Size: Tables are 6-feet wide with space for 2 chairs. Partitions will not be used this year.
  • Electricity: Electrical outlets and extension cords are available if requested in advance. Accommodations requested on the day of the event are subject to additional charges.
  • Parking (no in/out privileges): Registration includes reserved parking in a designated area of the Cornell parking structure. Passes will be made available to registered employers in advance. If and when the designated area is full, parking is available on a first-come/first-served basis in the structure.

Travel Information & Maps

Directions to The University of New Mexico:
From the airport, drive north on Yale to Central (about a 5-7 minute drive). Enter campus at Yale and Central and make an immediate right on Redondo, heading east toward the mountains. Follow Redondo past the UNM Bookstore to the new multi-story visitor parking structure (Cornell Parking Structure).

Parking:
Parking is very closely monitored on our campus. Please park in the Cornell Parking Structure only. We cannot be responsible for tickets or towing if you choose to park outside this structure. Parking for Accounting Career Fair employers will be in a reserved area of the Cornell parking structure. Passes will be provided to registered employers and organizations in advance. You must present a valid pass upon entering the parking structure. Student volunteers will be available to direct you to the reserved area. If and when the designated area is full, parking is available on a first-come/first-served basis in the structure.

Directions to the Student Union Building (SUB) from Cornell Parking Structure:
From the structure, walk north, Popejoy Hall will be on your left. Head north past the large Flamenco Dancer sculpture and past the multi-figure bronze sculpture/water fountain. The SUB will be on your left. The ballroom is located in the northwest corner of the building.
