Accounting MBA Concentration
(Effective Summer 2007)
The following guidelines are for students admitted to the MBA program beginning with the summer 2007 term.
Students Admitted Prior to the Summer 2007 Term:
For students admitted prior to the summer 2007 term, you can view your MBA curriculum guidelines
here.
The accounting concentration consists of 15 specified hours of graduate accounting coursework.
Students who have completed a BBA with an accounting concentration or completed their BBA at the Anderson School of Management may have already taken one or more of the required courses. Students should visit with the graduate programs advisor before substituting any required coursework with any of the electives.
NEW! MBA Information Assurance Concentration
Students can pursue an Accounting concentration and combine it with a concentration in Information Assurance (IA).
Because of overlapping course requirements, students pursuing an Accounting or MIS concentration can typically
complete a second concentration in IA with two or three additional courses. Students intending to pursue a dual
concentration need to plan their studies in advance and coordinate the plan with both concentration advisors.
Visit the Information Assurance web site for more information about the concentration.
